The Little Bakery of Hopes and Dreams

The Little Bakery of Hopes and Dreams by Kellie Hailes

My rating: 4.5 of 5 stars

Blurb from Amazon:

The most magical time of the year…

Josie Donnelly spends most years pretending that Christmas doesn’t even happen! So, she hopes that the sleepy village of Sunnycombe will be the perfect place to escape the festivities…

Or so she thought! Spending time with (far too handsome) bakery owner Callan Stewart and his young daughter, Mia, makes her long for the family Christmas she’s missed out on.

Could the little bakery on the hill be her own recipe for a happy ever after this year…?

My thoughts:

A relaxing 4.5* festive read by a new author to me.

The villagers of Sunnycombe love the festive season – can they help Josie and Callan rediscover their love for the festive season after life events made them sad?

The cakes at the bakery sound delicious – this is a book that will make you crave cake, log fires and snow.

Thanks to NetGalley and HQDigital for a digital ARC – my thoughts are my own.
