Thank you to Anne of Random Things Tours and Farrago Books for the invitation to join the blog tour for Starstruck by Beth Miller.
Synopsis:
Sally Marshall is just your ordinary suburban woman, who gets by performing as a tribute act to a pop star (Epiphanie, even more famous than Beyonce). She, along with dozens of others.
Until one day she is asked by the real Epiphanie to do a life swap for a couple of weeks.
Epiphanie trades Madison Square Gardens for doing gigs in pubs. Sally is catapulted from suburban semi life to double for a mega-star, her life turned upside down.
But which life will they each choose in the end?
Laugh-out-loud and unputdownable, Starstruck will leave you feeling warmer about all the different lives we choose.

My thoughts:
After a busy week, this book was just what ‘the doctor ordered’ to help relax over the weekend.
After watching X-Factor, Pop Idol etc, how many people dream of being one of the top pop stars, living the glamorous lifestyle of private jets, massive houses and adoring fans?
When Epiphanie asks one of her many tributes, Sally Marshall, to swap places for a couple of weeks, it seems to be a dream come true for Sally – to earn a large amount of money, perform in some famous stadiums and be pampered.
However, the ‘grass isn’t always greener on the other side’ and Sally finds out how strange the world of a pop megastar is. Her husband Paul, also has to contend with the real Epiphane living in his home, and the novelty soon wears off for both of them…
This book is fun, fast paced, original and so addictive. I started it on Friday night and finished it on Saturday. A delight to read and I’m happy to recommend it. I look forward to reading more books by Beth Miller in the future.
